Link exchanges (reciprocal linking)
#1
My question on this topic is whether anyone has any idea of how many links (assume niche relevant) would be safe and how many would trigger a penalty for 'excessive link exchanges'? I assume that the more authority you have the more exchanges you can do, but does anyone have guide numbers? Has anyone been penalised in the past for this? If so, how many did you do?

I've heard the number of around 20 being safe... based on my research that would seems fair.

Here's a final thought on this...

If you buy a PBN and intend to rebuild or build content in one niche... you can then build 10 to 20 links exchanges on that PBN as a cheap and powerful way to pass more link juice to your money site. It would also make the PBN site more natural and put it in a better neighborhood.

I don't think so that there is any exact figure or number of counts for reciprocal links which can be save or trigger to penalty. If there is any such figure, please share it, i want to read it in detail.

hi. In a link exchange is a confederation of websites that operates similarly to a web ring. Webmasters register their web sites with a central organization, that runs the exchange, and in turn receive from the exchange HTML code which they insert into their web pages.
